This recipe is a classic Mexican that I have enjoyed very much with my family over the years. I know there are many variations of this recipe and today I am sharing ours with you.
Ingredients
Chicken breast
Poblano Chiles
White or brown onion
Cream
Garlic
Preparation
Boil the chicken breast in water with 1/2 onion and salt to taste. When the breast is cooked, remove from the heat and shred.
Cut the poblano peppers and onion into slices. Heat oil in a frying pan and add the onion and chili along with garlic and salt to taste. Let it stew for 4-6 minutes, as soon as the chiles are soft, add the shredded chicken, cream and season to taste. Mix until everything is incorporated and remove from heat.
Serve with tortillas and my jalapeño salsa! Enjoyment!
You may find all these ingredients in our market or at a Hispanic Supermarket in your area.
